Bangladesh has logged six more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning.

At the same time, a total of 1,818 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.

The number of dengue patients undergoing treatment is 6,803 across the country, said the Directorate General of Health Services.       

So far, the DGHS has recorded 267,680 dengue cases and 259,544 recoveries this year.    

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
