Bangladesh has logged one more death from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.

At the same time, a total of 605 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.       

The total dengue death toll this year has reached 1,629, setting a new record in the country’s history. 

Meanwhile, the number of dengue patients undergoing treatment is 3,416 across the country, said DGHS.     

So far, the DGHS has recorded 312,964 dengue cases and 307,919 recoveries this year.           

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
