Bangladesh has logged three more death from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning.

At the same time, a total of 742 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.       

The total dengue death toll this year has reached 1,632, setting a new record in the country’s history. 

Meanwhile, the number of dengue patients undergoing treatment is 2,970 across the country, said DGHS.     

So far, the DGHS has recorded 313,706 dengue cases and 309,104 recoveries this year.             

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
