Bangladesh has logged four more deaths from dengue infection in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.

At the same time, 413 new patients were hospitalized for the disease all over the country.     

The total dengue death toll this year has reached 1,665, setting a new record in the country’s history.

Meanwhile, the number of dengue patients undergoing treatment is 2,047 across the country, said DGHS.   

So far, the DGHS has recorded 317,645 dengue cases and 313,933 recoveries this year.         

The country logged 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
