One more dengue patient died and 11 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Monday morning in the country.
"During the period, five dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while six were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 1,012 while 104 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.In 2022, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
