Three more dengue patient died and 548 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
"During the period, 359 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 189 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 18,589 while 2,038 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
