Most of the children killed by Israel in Gaza as well as in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem were students or were in nurseries, according to the Ministry of Education run by the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, reports Al Jazeera.
“Israel has destroyed schools and nurseries and targeted civilians, especially children, who have been forcibly displaced, detained or deprived from food and medical access,” the ministry said.
It added that since the war on Gaza started, 620,000 students have been prevented from going to school, while 88,000 have been denied education at the university level.Bd-pratidin English/Tanvir Raihan
