The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has struck “a vital target” during a retaliatory attack on an Israeli position in the occupied territories, Press TV reports.

In a statement on Tuesday, the group said its fighters launched drone attacks on the port city of Haifa on Monday evening in support of the people of Palestine.  

Resistance groups across the region have started to target the positions of Israeli military forces since the regime launched its campaign of genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip in October 2023.

They have so far managed to target several military bases in the occupied territories.
