Israeli military issued a warning to residents of southern Lebanon on Thursday to leave areas outside of a buffer zone established by the United Nations, raising the possibility that it will expand a ground operation against the militant Hezbollah organization that it began earlier this week, reports AP.
Israeli forces reported hitting around 200 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including weapons storage and observation posts. Overnight strikes caused large explosions in Beirut's southern suburbs, though the targets and any casualties remain unclear.
