The metro rail will run every eight minutes instead of 10 minutes from Saturday during the peak hours to tackle the pressure of passengers, reports Daily Sun.

“Now the metro rail runs 152 times on the Uttara-Motijheel route. With the new initiative, movement frequency will increase by 26 times. The new schedule will come into effect from Saturday,” Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director MAN Siddique said at a press conference on Thursday.
