People from all walks of life in Rangpur have expressed gratitude to Bashundhara Group for providing free iftar during the holy month of Ramadan.

Under the initiative of Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, over 250 people in eight mosques in the Gojoghonta union of Gangachara upazila enjoyed iftar on Saturday. 

Sirajul Islam, the organiser of the programmes, said that the locals in this area are delighted with the way Bashundhara Group is serving the people in the villages.

The iftar programmes were organised at Jaydev Paschim Sarkar Para, Chalapak Paschimpara, Jayder Sarkar Parvapara, Chalapak Madhyapara Baitur Noor Jame Masjid, Jaidev Sarkar Para, Chalapak Jamtala Jama Masjid, Chalapak Ahmadia Dargin Para Jame Masjid, and Rajbalsnav Matlab Bazar Jame Masjid of Rangpur.

Muazzin Matiar Rahman of the West Sarkarpara Mosque said Bashundhara Group has supported the iftar programme since the first day of Ramadan.

“All fasting individuals pray for the prosperity of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir. We hope they continue their efforts for the welfare of the people,” he said.

Bashundhara Group has been providing iftar to the needy, bringing happiness to the community, banglanews24.com reported.
