Keraniganj people happy with Bashundhara’s iftar

Bashundhara Group has been providing iftar meals for the devotees of different mosques, students and teachers of different madrasahs and police on-duty in Keraniganj on Monday marking the holy month of Ramadan.

Around 2000 packets of iftar meals were distributed among students and teachers of three madrasas under Konda union and police personnel of Keraniganj Model Police Station, South Keraniganj Police Station, Dhaka District DB Police (South) and Dhaka District South Traffic Police, Daily Sun reported.

Orphans, teachers and students of Jamia Rabbania Arabia Bashundhara have expressed their gratitude to the leading industrial conglomerate for providing iftar meals.

Madrasah teacher Hafez Al Amni conducted a prayer session before iftar seeking blessings for the Bashundhara Group.

Sarwar Hossain, a student of the madrasah, said, “Every day, iftar items come from Bashundhara Group.

Many orphans and underprivileged students study in this madrasa. We can never feel a lack of food in the holy month,” he said.

Zunaid Munshi, another student, also expressed his gratitude after receiving iftar items from Bashundhara Group.

“We raise our hands and pray to Allah, wishing the success of Bashundhara Group. Allah does not return the prayers of the fasting person,” he said.

Teacher Hafez Abrar Al Haque Rafi said that currently there are about 126 students in the madrasa and all prayed for the prosperity of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and their family members.

Bashundhara Group has been distributing iftar meals among 21 thousand people across the country, including Keraniganj, each day of Ramadan.
