Armed hill tract terrorists looted two more banks in Bandarban’s Thanchi upazila on Wednesday after they raided a Sonali Bank branch in the distrct's Ruma upazila on Tuesday night, reports Daily Sun.

The robbers entered Sonali Bank and Krishi Bank branches in the upazila's Thanchi Bazar area around 12:30pm and looted cash from the vaults.

Witness sources said after the robbers entered the banks, they seized the weapons of the security personnel and broke all the CCTV cameras. They then made employees unlock the vault and absconded with the cash.

The perpetrators also gunfired several rounds inside the branches, the witnesses said.
