Professor Rezaul Karim, Director of the Secondary and Higher Education Directorate in Chattogram Region, has been appointed as chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chattogram, reports BSS.

The Ministry of Education has issued an order on Tuesday appointing the new chairman of the Chattogram Education Board (CEB).

Rebecca Sultana, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Secondary and Higher Education wing, Government College unit-2 signed the notification.

Rezaul Karim, a BCS (General Education) cadre officer, has been posted on his own pay and scale until further order, the notification said.

Talking to BSS Prof Rezaul expressed his hope and said that he can be able to discharge his new responsibilities well with the cooperation of all concerned for the development of country's education.
