"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Rangpur and Barishal divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions", according to weather forecast predicted by Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) for next 24 hours began from 9am on Tuesday, reports BSS. 

Day temperature may rise by (1-3)øC and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's highest temperature on Monday was recorded 33.4 degree Celsius at Tetulia. Minimum temperature today was recorded 24.0 degree Celsius jointly at Tangail and Bandarban.

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 257 millimeters(MM) at Chandpur.
