Additional Inspector General of Police Md Harun Ar Rashid has been appointed as the new Director Deneral (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

A gazette notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahabub Rahman Sheikh of the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, was issued to this end on Wednesday.    

Harun or Rashid will replace the existing RAB DG M Khurshid Hossain.
