10 of a wedding ceremony group were killed when a microbus fell into the canal after the bridge collapsed in Amtali of Barguna district. Several people were also injured in the same incident.
The names of the victims were not immediately known. It's feard that the number of victims might be increased.
The accident took place on Saturday afternoon as the Haldia bridge broke which was located between No. 5 Chawa and No. 4 Haldia Union of Amtali upazila.The details of the casualties were not immediately known.
