Sheikh Rehana has called for prayers for her daughter, Tulip Siddiq, following her election victory in Hampstead and Highgate, UK, where she secured 23,432 votes for her fourth term, reports Daily Sun.

Expressing her excitement over Tulip's success in the UK election, Rehana said, "I request everyone to pray for Tulip so that she can perform her duties with honesty and dedication at all times."

"I hope Tulip will dedicate her life to the welfare of the people," said Rehana, the younger daughter of Bangabandhu.

Rehana revealed that she never envisioned Tulip entering politics, but Tulip chose this path herself. "I wanted her to be a teacher, judge, barrister, or something else, but she decided to pursue a career in politics on her own," Rehana added.
