The students and job seekers, who have been waging a movement seeking reform in the quota system in government jobs, observing a “complete shutdown” across the country on Thursday.

In Bogura: At 11:30 am, when the students tried to come to Satmatha with a procession, there was a series of chases with the police. In Chittagong: In the morning, the protesting students took position in the Shah Amanat Bridge area of ​​Chittagong. There the police fired tear shells. Later students locked in a clash with the police.
