Two helicopters of the elite force RAB were seen arriving at the Canadian University of Bangladesh in Merul Badda to rescue police officers trapped inside.
One of the helicopters was seen airlifting several police officers.
The incident occurred shortly before 3:00 pm on Thursday. Since the morning, there have been multiple clashes between police and students protesting for quota reform in front of BRAC University in Merul Badda.At one point, the police took refuge inside the Canadian University of Bangladesh while the protesters remained outside.
