The cooking was finished by noon. The children were arranged to sit on mats in a large empty space. Bashundhara Shuvosangho members washed their hands well before they started eating. They teach children how to wash their hands and wash their hands thoroughly before each meal. Children also pay heed to them with great enthusiasm. After washing hands, a plate of food is placed in front of everyone. The organizers served food on their plates and Children ate to their content.

The organizers said, “Bashundhara Shuvosangho is doing social work all over the country. It’s taking various steps to bring the underprivileged children back to the mainstream. In that continuity we have gathered these children. It was not our main intention to have them a meal. We were able to teach them a lot in between taking foods and encouraged them to study. If they want to study, Bashundhara Shuvosangho will be by their side. Some of them seem to have a strong desire to study. We will admit the interested children in new schools.”
