Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the release of ordinary students detained in connection with the quota reform movement.
The Prime Minister said this in a meeting with the central leaders of the Professional Coordination Council at Ganabhaban on Saturday.
In the meeting, the prime minister called upon the protesting students to sit with him in the Ganabhaban to prevent violence against the quota reform movement.He said, "The door of the Ganabhaban is open. I want to sit with the quota agitators and listen to them. I don't want conflict.'
