Two-day program announced amid non-cooperation movement

The anti-discrimination student movement has announced a two-day program amid their ongoing non-cooperation movement.

In a facebook post by Asif Mahmud, one of the coordinators of the movement, on Sunday said it was on Monday memorial plaques will be unveiled at the places of martyrdom in memory of the martyrs across the country and demonstrations and public gatherings will be held across the country.

In Dhaka, a labor rally will be held at Shahbagh at 11 am and a women's rally will be held at Shaheed Minar at 5 pm.

The message informed that the Long March to Dhaka program will be held on Tuesday.

Students, citizens and workers from all over the country have been invited to come to Dhaka on this day.

It has been informed that this program will be held in Shahbagh area on Tuesday at 2 pm.

Forming of committees under the leadership of students was instructed in all areas, neighborhoods, villages, upazilas and districts.

“If there is an internet shutdown, if we’re disappeared, arrested, even killed, if there is no one to declare program, everyone will occupy the streets and continue peaceful non-cooperation until the government falls on one-sided demands,” the instructions said.
