Former State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has been detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

Airport officials and employees apprehended him on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said airport officials and employees apprehended Palak when he was trying to leave for Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. 

He was apprehended by CAAB officials when he was waiting at the lounge of the airport. Later, air force officials took him away.
