Interim government: Who got which ministry?

The allocation of ministries among the 17 members of the interim government, led by Prof Muhammad Yunus, has been finalised. This information was announced in a notification by the Cabinet Division on Friday.

The portfolios of the advisers to the interim government are as follows:

Prof Muhammad Yunus

Cabinet Division, defence ministry, armed forces division, education ministry, road highways and bridges ministry, food ministry, housing and public works ministry, land ministry, textiles and jute ministry, agriculture ministry, science and technology ministry, railways ministry, public administration ministry, power, energy and mineral resources ministry, shipping ministry, water resources ministry, women and children affairs ministry, disaster management and relief ministry, information and broadcasting ministry.

Salehuddin Ahmed: Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Planning

Asif Nazrul: Ministry of Law

Adilur Rahman Khan: Ministry of Industries

Hasan Arif: LGRD Ministry

Syeda Rizwana Hasan: Ministry of Environment

Sharmin Murshid: Ministry of Social Welfare

Brigadier (retd) AKM Sakhawat Hossain: Ministry of Home Affairs

AFM Khalid Hossain: Ministry of Religious Affairs

Farida Akhtar: Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock

Nurjahan Begum: Ministry of Health

Nahid Islam: Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology

Asif Mahmud: Ministry of Youth and Sports

The chief adviser of the interim government Professor Muhammad Yunus will be in charge of the remaining Ministries.
