Three senior police officers including one Additional Inspector General of Police were sent on retirement on Tuesday.
The officials are -- Krishna Pada Roy, Additional IGP of Police Headquarters, Md Mozammel Haque, Police Commissioner (Deputy Inspector General) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) and its Additional Commissioner Sardar Rakibul Islam.
The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued three separate gazette notifications in this regard.According to the notifications, they have been sent on retirement from government service in the public interest as per the provisions of section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.
They will be entitled to all fringes of retirement benefits as per the rules.
