Majeda Khgatun, 35, from Chilmari upazila has been suffering from physical challenges as she is short. She was neglected to pursue her studies. She studied up to class five. She lived with her brother, reports Daily Sun.
She recently got training from Bashundhara Shuvosangho on a sewing machine. She has also been given a machine free of cost.
“I am neglected. That is why, I could not study, but Bashundhara Group did not neglect me. They trained me to learn sewing through Bashundhara Shuvosangho. Today, I got a sewing machine.She is now confident about earning her livelihood. She wants to overcome her illness by earning from this sewing machine.
Majeda said, “I can make various types of clothes. I can work with the machine and earn my livelihood. I am sure people will help me in this regard.”
She thanked the Bashundhara Group and wished for prosperity.
