Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised a tree plantation programme in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday.
Members of the organisation’s Godagari upazila unit planted various species of trees on the campus of Anwara Fahim Ziauddin Pilot Girl's High School.
Organisers said they held the tree plantation programme in memory of students and people who were killed during the movement across the country in July and August and to pay tribute to their sacrifice as well.Besides, protecting the balance of the environment was also considered, they said.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho Godagari upazila unit President Md Shahriar Rifat and General Secretary Md Wahiduzzaman were also present on the occasion among others.
