All of a sudden, a group of volunteers came to Dinajpur to extend food support to the poor people for a month. It was a period of Covid-19 pandemic. I came to know that Shuvosangho members arrived on behalf of Bashundhara Group. They worked day after day to feed the destitute in 13 upazilas.of Dinajpur.

Besides, the food stuffs were made available to 50,000 people in 16 districts of the northern region.

The largest industrial conglomerate is working in aid of the government in any critical time. It is working to change fate of the countrymen through Shuvosangho.

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan harbours a special sympathy for the helpless people of the northern region of the country. He has established Shuvosangho school in Dinajpur to facilitate study of dropouts and arranged training for the insolvent women. The recipients of training and sewing machines will be able to change their future and push the country forward.

Recently, Bashundhara Group arranged mega Quran recitation contest titled Quraner Noor. It also sends hundreds of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj.
