I welcome Bashundhara Group for its initiatives to make 200 insolvent women in Cumilla self-dependent. The group provided free sewing training and sewing machines to the women as part of the government's Vision 2041.
If these 200 women can emerge as entrepreneurs, thousands of women in the area will be empowered to eradicate poverty from society. I extend my thanks to the group and call upon all affluent business groups to move forward for the betterment of our motherland.
There are many industrial groups in our country and those, like Bashundhara, can undertake such activities to eliminate poverty. Then it will help bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged people.Shuvosangho, a voluntary platform of the group, is engaged in conducting social welfare activities in the country. The company remains beside poor people with its commendable work.
With its support, many women have already established themselves as entrepreneurs. I believe the group will continue the welfare work.
