Bashundhara Group has been working for the wellbeing of the people through its social voluntary platform Shuvosangho. The organisation is working in the service of humanity across the country.
We learn about their works constantly through newspapers or television. There are many big industrial establishments in the country, but such work is not possible for all.
I welcome the initiative of Bashundhara Shuvosangho to empower 200 destitute women in Cumilla by providing free training for three months and sewing machines. As Bashundhara Group works in line with Smart Bangladesh, other leading business houses should come forward in this regard. I think that the good initiative of Bashundhara Group will foster the journey of Smart Bangladesh-2041 under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
With the sewing machine that these 200 people have got, not only themselves but their whole families can be self-sufficient. I again extend best wishes to Bashundhara Group for their humanitarian initiatives.
