Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo role in Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan has confirmed.

Actor Aamir Khan has finally confirmed that, fans will finally see Shah Rukh Khan and him together in a film. Shah Rukh will be in a cameo appearance in his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha.

In Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir plays the titular role. The film follows the journey of a Laal (Aamir) as he chases his dreams and love. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya.

Speaking with Canadian film journalist Alexandra, when asked how he got Shah Rukh to do a cameo, Aamir replied, "Well Shah Rukh is a friend and I told him that I needed someone who can represent what Elvis represented in America. I need the biggest iconic star of India, which is why I am coming to you’. He (Shah Rukh) was really sweet and he said, ‘Yes’.”

Laal Singh Chaddha is the official hindi adaptation of the 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. Backed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions, the much awaited film is scheduled for worldwide August 11.
