Obama wins Emmy Award

Former US President Barack Obama wins Emmy Award for his voice over in the Netflix documentary film ‘Our Great National Park.’

He won the award in the ‘Outstanding Naration’ category, and becomes only the second US president in history to win an Emmy.

Besides Obama, other competitors for the award was Karim Abdul Jabbar for ‘Black Patriot,’ David Attenborough for ‘The Mating Game,’ Do Blue Kamau Bell for ‘We Need to Talk about Cosby’ and Lupita Niyong’o for ‘Serengeti II.’

Earlier, Obama has been nominated for Emmy Award in 2016; however then he got the nomination for a TV programme, not as a voice artist. He didn’t able to win the award that time.
