A Dhaka court has issued an arrest warrant against actress and model Sarika Sabrin’s husband textile engineer GS Badruddin Ahmed Rahi in an assault and dowry case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Farah Diba Chhanda passed the order after taking the statement of the plaintiff on Monday morning.

Sarika’s counsel Masudur Rahman Masud confirmed the matter.

On February 2, this year, Sarika tied the knot with Badruddin.
