Actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila has got Maitri Award at the Telangana Bengali Film Festival.

She won the award for her performance in the film ‘Omanush’.

The award ceremony was held at the Palace Preview Lab in Hyderabad, India.

Mithila’s first Tollywood film, ‘Maya’, was also screened at the Telangana Bengali Film Festival. Directed by Raajhorshee De, the movie is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’.

Besides Mithila, Tollywood actors Gaurab Chakraborty, Tanushree Chakraborty, Sudipta Bandyopadhyay, Rahul, Kamleshwar, and others have played important roles in the movie.
