Rock star Faruq Mahfuz Anam James is going to release another original song on this Eid under the banner of Bashundhara Digital, a platform for entertainment content.

Singer James along with high officials of Bashundhara Group made the announcement at a press conference at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-2 in the capital on Monday.

Bashundhara Group Sector -A chief operating officer MM Jasim Uddin, chief human resource officer Shaikh Ehsan Reza, chief financial officer Mahbub Alam and head of public relations Jakaria Jalal were also present at the press conference, reports Daily Sun.

Bashundhara Digital is an online platform of original content featuring dramas, commercials and other entertainment products.

Addressing the function, Nagar Baul James expressed his gratitude to Bashundhara for giving opportunity to work with Independence.

“It's my second release with Bashundhara Digital. We will work together with more single songs. I hope Bashundhara Digital will be top entertainment platform of the country very soon,” he said.

Sharing the objective of the entertainment platform, MM Jasim Uddin said Bashundhara Digital always releases original content instead of remix items.

"Popular singer James extends his cooperation to release the new song to reach heart of all people beyond class of age. Bashundhara LP Gas achieved a new feather of success through endorsement of world renowned singer. We are developing an OTT platform for entertain all," he said.

Applauding the songs of renowned singer, Shaikh Ehsan Reza said the fame of James has expanded beyond borders of the country with his magic of voice.

"From Bashundhara LP Gas, a market leading brand, we extend support to Bashundhara Digital to reach the song to millions of fans of the music legend globally," said Reza, a retired captain of Bangladesh Army.

For the first time, the platform is bringing music video in partnership with James last year with exclusive copyright of the production to Bashundhara Digital.
