Awami League general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of noted Rabindra Sangeet singer Sadi Mohammad.

In a condolence message, Quader also the ruling party general secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family members, relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Tagore singer Sadi Mohammad was found dead at his Mohammadpur house in the capital on Wednesday evening. He was 69.
