Foreign jobs now at 'Amar Probashi' app

The information of prospective jobs in foreign countries will be available in mobile apps. Jobs, according to the preference and qualification of the applicants, now can be selected from anywhere in the world. The applicants could apply directly through apps. The above mentioned facilities will be available in the app name ‘Amar Probashi.’

According to the concerned persons, there will be no need of taking help of the brokers upon increase the use of these kinds of apps. In addition, it will reduce immigration cost and unusual hassles, which will lead to the implementation of ‘Smart Immigration Process.’

According to the officials of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, many efforts have been initiated to reduce the dependency on the brokers in manpower export process. However, these efforts haven’t been successful yet. The application process through online based apps can change the present scenario of labor-market.

The officials of ‘Amar Probashi’ app informed that the goal of this app is to provide all the information and facilities of travelling abroad under a single medium. The aspiring employees looking for travelling abroad, more than 2,500 recruiting agencies and foreign employers will get ‘one stop service’ through this app. The mentioned facilities will also gettable through the website ‘amarprobashi.com.’ It has been found upon visiting the ‘Amar Prabashi’ app and website that already 281 job advertisements of 44 types and from 14 countries are uploaded there. Adrtisements from countries like Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Korea and Hungary are on the site.

Features for applying in each of the jobs are available there. Whoever applies for the jobs online, their applications directly go to the specified recruiting agencies. Later, the concerned recruiting agency can directly contact the applicant and take further action. In addition to job application, the app also has the facility of visa check. As a result, the chance of being cheated through fake visas will be reduced. Moreover, necessary information services including passport and training center information, address of the nearest embassy are available in this app.

According to the concerned people, the type of jobs approved by the Ministry and BMET will be available in this app. Besides, other information will be updated regularly. Tabirul Ahmed, who has the experience of US-based research on the market of manpower export from developing countries to different countries, told The Bangladesh Pratidin, “If such one-stop services are popularized on mobile apps and websites, there will be no need for brokers. It will be possible to reduce the cost of migration to a great extent. Furthermore, it will be possible to reduce the duration and suffering in the immigration process. The biggest benefit is that government monitoring will be possible. It will also be possible to eliminate labor market irregularities easily.
