India sets 182 runs target for Pakistan in the Asia Cup

India have posted a 182-run target for Pakistan to chase in their Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2022 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first.

According to NDTV report, Virat Kohli hit a six over midwicket to complete his 50 off just 36 balls. Deepak Hooda played a decent cameo of 16 runs before losing his wicket to Naseem Shah.

Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav started strongly but couldn't hold their guard for too long. Hardik Pandya too couldn't repeat his heroics and was dismissed on a golden duck.

Shadab Khan has been the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan so far. Rohit Sharma played a brisk knock of 28 off 16 balls before Haris Rauf dismissed him in the final over of the powerplay. Shadab Khan then dismissed Rahul (28 off 20) in the seventh over. Rohit Sharma hit two sixes and three boundaries during his thunderous knock, while KL Rahul also came into his own, hitting a boundary and two sixes.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bowl against India in an Asia Cup Super 4 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India made three changes as Hardik Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi and Deepak Hooda replaced Avesh Khan, Ravindra Jadeja and Dinesh Karthik. Pakistan also made a forced change as Mohammad Hasnain replaced the injured Shahnawaz Dahani. This time it is a Super 4 clash that takes place on Sunday.
