Bangladesh to play two T20s against UAE

Bangladesh will play two T20s against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this month during a training camp ahead of their New Zealand tour and the T20 World Cup.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief executive officer (CEO) on Thursday said the national team will leave for the UAE on September 22 and the matches will be held on September 25 and 27 at the Dubai International Stadium, reports UNB.

The national team players along with other young players had a three-day practice camp in Dhaka under the supervision of the T20 consultant Sridharan Sriram. But due to the inclement weather, the plan did not work out well.

"The team management planned to have a good practice camp. So, we are doing things accordingly," BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury told the media. "Playing two matches against the UAE will give the team a great opportunity to practice well."

The Bangladesh team will return home on September 26, and after a break of two-three days, they will leave for New Zealand.
