Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced Tk 50 lakh as gift to SAFF Women’s winning team on Wednesday.
A statement from BCB said the women’s football team has made the country proud and as recognition of their hard work the board will reward them with Tk 50 lakh.
In the statement, BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon said, “I am convinced that their victory has enhanced sportsmanship in the country and specifically provided inspiration to women athletes.”He added, “This victory will serve as motivation for bringing international success in the field of sports.”
