Visiting Bangladesh scored 59 runs for three wickets in 9 overs in the 3rd match of the T20I Tri-Series 2022 on Saturday at Hagley Oval, Christchurch in New Zealand.

Opener Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 33 runs off 29 balls while wicketkeeper batter Liton Das scored 15 runs from 16 balls.

New Zealand bowlers Tim Southee and Michael Bracewell got one wicket each.

Bangladesh was defeated by Pakistan in the first match by 21 runs and surely will try to bounce back in its second match against New Zealand.

Tigers skipper Shakib-Al-Hasan is playing this match. The captain was not played in the first match against Pakistan as he was tired after a long journey from the US.

Meanwhile, New Zealand was also defeated by Pakistan in its first match on Saturday.
