Bangladesh all out for 231, set India target of 145 to chase

Bangladesh could not survive for long on Day 3 of their second Test against India at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.

Liton Das top-scored for the Tigers, scoring 73 off 98 balls, while opener Zakir Hasan also picked up his maiden Test fifty to help Bangladesh to get 231 in their second innings, setting up a 145-run target for India.

Liton was the first to depart following the Tea break when a quick Mohammed Siraj delivery nipped back in sharply to rattle his stumps.

The right-hander, however, rode his luck a number of times during a knock that included seven boundaries. He was dropped at least three times behind the wicket and also survived close LBW calls, courtesy of the DRS.

Taijul soon followed suit as the left-hander was trapped in front by a Ravichandran Ashwin delivery. However, Taskin, who came on to bat before the Tea break, played a handy knock as he scored an unbeaten 31 off 46 deliveries to help add some crucial runs for Bangladesh.
