As third Bangladeshi cricketer, batter Towhid Hridoy got his first 50 runs as a debutant in the first ODI match against Ireland at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Towhid reached the milestone of 50 runs off 55 balls.

During the just-concluded BPL, the Sylhet Strikers opener played his career-best game and as a reward for good playing, Towhid has been included in the national team.
