Bangladesh-Ireland second ODI abandoned due to rain

The second one day international between Bangladesh and the visitor Ireland abandoned due to rain.

In the match held in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday, Bangladesh scored 349 for 6 after sent to bat by toss-winner Ireland.

The record breaking century from Mushfiqur Rahim and the Half centuries from Liton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto took Bangladesh to their highest total in ODI.

Mushfiqur scored 100 off just 6o balls, while Shanto scored 73 off 77 balls and Liton 70 off 71 balls.

The rain started just after the end of Bangladesh innings. At local time 8:32 pm, the match was called off as the condition was far away from starting the match again.
