Bashundhara Sports Complex, a comprehensive sports concern of the country’s largest business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, has seen much headway in the infrastructural development.

Located at N-Block in Bashundhara Residential Area in Dhaka, an international standard football stadium named Bashundhara Kings Arena under the Complex is being equipped with all required facilities to host national and international tournaments, reports Daily Sun.

The sports complex authority began installation process by placing the root pillar of the first floodlights tower on that day.

Four floodlight towers surrounding the entire Kings Arena holding floodlights of Category A, HD quality capable of producing brightness of 2500 LUX have been erected.

Bashundhara Sports Complex is the only private sports complex in Bangladesh as well as South Asia to have got multifaceted facilities, high-powered floodlights, dressing room, press box, conference room and cafeteria.

It is learnt that international tournaments will be held in the sports complex which may display spectacular lightshow before and after the play like Qatar.

The floodlights are being installed following FIFA-AFC standards which would be an example for the country's sport-loving community.

Located on 350 bighas of land, the Complex is getting international standard cricket stadium, hockey stadium, golf course, swimming complex with diving facility, and badminton ground. Spacious road, separate parking, and foolproof security for the players and spectators are salient features.
