The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the ODI squad for Bangladesh's upcoming series against Afghanistan, scheduled to be held in next month in port city Chattogram, reports UNB.
The series will commence on July 5, with the following two matches set for July 8 and 11. All matches will be day-night.
Tamim Iqbal will lead the team during this series, with Shakib Al Hasan also included in the squad. Both Tamim and Shakib, who have been recovering from injuries, were absent from the recently concluded Test match in Dhaka.In the solitary Test against Afghanistan, Bangladesh secured a resounding victory by a margin of 546 runs, marking their biggest win in Test cricket to date. This victory also stands as the largest margin of victory by any Test team in the last 89 years.
