This year's Asian Games 2023 has started with colorful and magnificent arrangements. This event features eSports for the first time; where there are 7 video games. There are opportunities to win team and individual gold, silver, and bronze medals.

A total of 476 eSports athletes from 30 countries participated in the Asian Games. Gamers from neighboring countries India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives, and Myanmar participated in the Asian Games to win medals for the country. These eSports or video gaming competitions will be held from September 24th to October 2nd at Hangzhou eSports Center China.

Among the 9 torchbearers from different genres, China's famous professional PUBG player Paraboy made history as the first eSports athlete to carry the torch at the Asian Games. Paraboy is one of the most popular PUBG players in the world.

Online computer or mobile gaming tournaments are called electronic sports or eSports. In Western countries, these tournaments are organized in grand halls and stadiums. Gamers who participate in tournaments are called professional eSports players. They can participate in the tournament as a team or individually.

This year's Asian Games has given a new level to this game of eSports.
