Kiwis won the game by 9 wickets in 36.2 overs.

Devon Conway is the first centurion of this World Cup. Rachin Ravindra becomes the player of the match.

English bowler Sam Curran bagged the only wicket.

Earlier, New Zealand opted to field first where the defending champion scored 282 runs in 50 overs losing 9 wickets.

Top-order batter Joe Root scored the highest 77 runs off 86 balls while skipper Jos Buttler scored 43 runs from 42 balls.

Matt Henry got three wickets while Santner and Glenn Phillips bagged two wickets each.
