Pakistan set 287-run target against Netherlands

Pakistan set a target of 287 runs for Netherlands in the World Cup at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday.

Wiing the toss Netherlands caption Scott Edwards sent Pakistan to bat first.  Being asked to bat, Pakistan lost three wickets on 38 runs in 9.1 overs.

Bas de Leede took four wickets as Netherlands bundled out Pakistan for 286 in their ODI World Cup 2023 match.

Pakistan middle order batters Mohammad Rizwan (68) and Saud Shakeel (68) to post a solid total on the board. Bas de Leede returned with four wickets for Netherlands, while Colin Ackermann snapped two. Apart from Rizwan and Shakeel, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz scored 32 and 39 runs respectively.

Fakhar Zaman (12), Imam-ul-Haq (15) and Babar Azam (5) could not last long enough in the crease, gifting their wickets so early.
